Strategic research areas launched 2010

In 2010, the government launched an initiative focusing on strategic research areas (SFO). Applications were assessed by the Swedish Research Council, Forte, Formas, the Swedish Energy Agency and Vinnova. Based on these assessments, the government awarded support to 43 research environments across 20 areas. Here is the list of the 41* strategic research environments that still receive funding
